Pi'ikū gives you that on a project the community already depends on. This cohort, you're building it for Foodland.
Program overview
The client
Foodland is Hawai'i's largest locally owned grocery chain. Family-run since 1948, with stores across the pae 'aina and a customer base that spans generations. The work you do this cohort goes into systems those customers use every week.

The Model
12 weeks, 2 cross-functional teams, each owning its own Foodland project end to end.
The pods consist of 1 Product Manager, 2 Product Designers, and 3 Software engineers. Each with their own personal mentor who average 10 years of experience in your industry.

Software Engineer
Build the product alongside design and PM. You'll write production code, collaborate using git, write tests, peer-review with senior engineers, and document what you ship.
Requirements: 1-2 years of coding experience (CS track, bootcamp, or prior internship). Familiarity with at least one mainstream language. Comfort with git and an IDE. Prior team experience preferred.
